easy to use and straight forward. the challenge with the install is keeping the hole true while drilling.
Worth the money for piece of mind. Make sure you have a BIG hammer ready to go before mixing the epoxy.
Anchors work well . Have held up so far . Make sure you clean the drilled holes . Drill the right depth . Epoxy sets up fast so do your prep right and install one at a time . You will be happy with the end result .
I'll let you know when I use the anchors when I install the lift.
Seemd to work well, I had over 4 inches of old seasoned concrete so they may have been unnecessary. Only time will tell how they hold up.
Should come with more Epoxy! Dont screw up and put too much in one hole or you'll be out!!
More epoxy needs to be included with the kit because if you don't have over 6 inches of concrete which I had 5. 25 epoxy will go down in the stones under the concrete. I used 3 tubes. The more epoxy, the better the job. And I would think the safer.
These anchors are good quality. The instructions do say the bolt size they take are 5/8-11, but that is not correct. They use the same size as the expansion anchors at M16-2. Also, the tube of epoxy that is supplied is not enough to do all 10 holes. I got 3 holes out of a tube, but I figured this would be the case so I bought a couple extra tubes of anchor epoxy. A couple tips. . . make sure to put more epoxy than you think in the holes so it comes out the top and you have plenty around the anchor. Also, do NOT pull the anchor out after inserting it in the hole because the epoxy didn't come out the top and you are concerned there isn't enough coverage. . . I did this and it creates an air pocket under the anchor which prevents you from inserting the anchor deep enough. I was able to "burp" it enough to get the anchor down far enough, but just a helpful tip. One more tip, use painters tape around the top edge of the anchor and bolt threads to prevent the epoxy from sticking to the bolt or going into the threads. Overall this is a nice kit. . . a little expensive, but worth it if it leads to years of trouble free lift use.
I just kind of wish this was already included with the lift. I have not installed it so I don't have a review of the bolt kit as for installation and ease of use.
The product worked as described. The only issue was I had to buy a 2nd tube as I ran out before I finished the last few holes, and it was very difficult to squeeze thru the mixing nozzle with a manual caulking gun.
