BendPak HD-7P Four-Post Lift - 7,000-lbs. Capacity

After much research, lift comparisons, "You Tube" videos, and personal contacting of the companies, I went with Bendpak, and the HD 7-P lift. The lift, and the company far exceeded my expectations, and worked perfectly for my residential garage situation. This is a professional grade lift with no shortcuts taken in construction and design. This lift is ALI Certified, where most of the cheaper lifts aren't. You can buy a cheaper lift, with options that are not included with the Bendpak HD 7-P, but when you look at what you get for your money, you will clearly see why Bendpak makes the best lift, even with the options not included, and why pay for options you may never use. You get what you pay for. The highest grade steel is used, with top quality construction, and a safety system second to none. It took myself and two friends 10 hours from the first cut of the shipping band to the raising of a vehicle to complete the job. On a scale between 1 and 10, I give the Bendpak HD 7-P lift a 20. 10 points for the company and lift, and 10 points for the customer service representative, Dona.

1. The installation manual could use a little assistance. In fact, it could use an overhaul. Read it first, watch a "You Tube" video, then put the lift together.
There's a lot left out in the installation manual that would help in the assembly, but you can always contact (call) the service department, and get help.
2. Only two options for power unit placement (Not a deal breaker).

Naturally cost was a factor, but you get what you pay for. I looked at several cheaper brands that came with accessories which are additional options with the Bendpak, but the lifts were of a much lessor quality, not well designed, and customer service was non-existant My Bendpak lift is top quality heavy gauge material, top quality welding, and outstanding double safety locking mechanisms. My lift is truly a professional grade lift, and it only took 3 people 10 hours from cutting the first shipping band to raising my vehicle on the lift. On a scale between 1 and 10, I give the Bendpak HD7-P lift a 20.
