I thoroughly enjoyed my with experience with Robert Ladosky at Wrenchers and was completely satisfied.
Love the lift. Instructions were thorough and easy to understand. The only thing I don't like is that the ramps fold down as the lift goes up, preventing you from parking a vehicle underneath. That's the whole reason I purchased this lift. The ramps are removable, but not easily once the clips are installed on the rods.
I have owned a less expensive lift in the past and I can say first hand that the Bendpak HD-9 is much better quality. Despite the installation instructions saying you will need help, I was able to assemble it myself using just some basic equipment that I own. I love the HD-9 for its versatility. Most of the time it is used to stack one vehicle over the other but I also do a ton of maintenance work under it. Be sure to purchase a package deal with the maintenance jack tray, drip trays, and if you have a low vehicle, the extended ramps might be handy so you don't scrape.

I bought one 3-4 years ago and it was good. I recently contacted them about getting 3 more. I was transferred over to Wrenchers. com They could see my prior purchases and that was comforting, because I did not know how they were affiliated. But they were so great to deal with. I ended up getting 4. Shipping was quick and worked out well. The instructions are good. But I also watched a video online and that helps also. They do have some fasteners for the airline that I think are too small. It would be better if it came with better bolts and nuts for that part. I did have an issue with a cable that got twisted. It was my fault but Bendpak replaced it anyway. Their customer service is excellent. Overall the lifts are made well, easy to install, and work well. You do need to be careful when doing alone, and must recheck everything before putting anything on the lift. The only think I would change is the bolts for the airline block, and the final checklist before putting anything on the lift. As in how to adjust the ladders and cables. I don't feel the instructions are clear enough on this part. Recommended and would buy again.

The Bendpak brand is quality. Now that I am a owner I look at other companies designs out of curiosity and see lightweight materials and cheap designs. There is only one other brand that is built like a Bendpak and it is costly. Installation and instruction's are straight forward and even hiring an installer isnt much. It has been 5 trouble free years of ownership of the HD-9 and its bridge jack.

I wanted just a car lift but my HD9 is so much more! I love the fact that I can put a 4 wheel dolly under the one side and slide it narrower to work on my Garden tractor and other things. I use the inner rails to put a 3/4" plywood plank down to change my oil and also keep the drips off the car underneath. I would love to get the jack system with casters when I can afford it. The only thing I wish was better is it could go another couple inches higher to walk under as I'm 6' and have to raise it all the way up after the last locking position so I don't hit my head. Overall, a great lift for the price and I installed it myself. I have a 12' ceiling in my garage. I also just bolted the ramps straight out so they are not in the way.

The HD-9 lift has been great for the few years I've owned it. Very steady and beefy compared to the competitors I've looked at. I love the fact that it's movable with the optional casters. I would buy another one if I had the room.

I've had my HD-9 for almost 5 years. I use it for both maintenance and storage and have been very happy with it. It has operated without fault and I find it easy to use and maintain. I'm very happy with my purchase. I fully recommend it for anyone looking for an easy way to store another car or who has just gotten tired of working on your back. This was by far the best thing I've added to my garage.

My BendPak Lift is excellent.
It allows me to be able to easily and safely store and work-on more vehicles in my 3-bay garage.
When I received the lift, the instructions were awful - the lift/instructions did not match my parts. I called BendPak and the quickly sent me the correct instructions.
Without any reservation, I recommend BendPak to anyone.
